  What happened to the chicken and dumplings? I love you, Rooster's. But I have to keep it real. I went there for lunch and was served plain chicken broth with a few chunks of chicken, baby carrots and CUBED BREAD that was apparently supposed to be dumplings. Please, just remove chicken and dumplings off the menu if you are going to use cubed white bread for dumplings! Maybe the regular chef was out that day? Maybe you were out of the dish? I don't know...but please do not do this anymore, LOL. The dinner roll was heaven, and we got extra ones for free which was nice. Service was friendly as always, and the breakfasts are still as good as they always were. But man, that chicken broth and bread cubes has GOT to go.

  I like their dedication to the Rooster decor! Food is average but not too expensive and the service has always been good. The cinnamon rolls are, of course, amazing. But it is kind of hard to get that wrong. If you are just looking for a place to go to have a no frills, pleasant breakfast, this is a solid choice.
